On Friday, a Russian missile attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih in central Ukraine left at least 18 people dead, including several children and teenagers aged between 3 and 17.
According to local authorities, the missile strike took place near a children's playground in a Ukrainian residential area.
On Friday evening, following the attack, the US ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, stated that she was completely “horrified” by this “ballistic missile strike”, without initially mentioning its source, reports the media 20 Minutes.
“Unfortunately, the reaction from the American embassy is disappointingly surprising: such a strong country and people, and such a weak reaction,” criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “They're even afraid to say the word ‘Russian’ when talking about the missile that killed the children.” That's quite clear.
