World's most famous TikTokker leaves US after arrest

Khaby Lame, the man with the most TikTok followers in the world, has been detained and has left the United States.

The news was announced on X by conservative influencer Bo Loudon, a close friend of the son of US President Donald Trump. According to Loudon, he was responsible for ensuring that Khaby Lame was detained and left the US last Friday for overstaying his visa.

Khaby Lame, 25 years old and an Italian citizen born in Senegal, had been in the US since the end of April. On TikTok, where he has more than 160 million followers, he became famous for humorous videos in which he does not say a word. On 6 June, he was detained at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
