It's hard not to ask the question, as Donald Trump Junior himself stated a few days ago that it's not out of the question that he might "one day" run for president.
During an economic forum in Doha, the eldest son of the American president, aged 47, said he wasn't entirely sure if he would run for the presidency of the United States, specifying that “perhaps one day that call will come”. At present, Donald Trump Jr.'s main objective is to combat “the woke ideology that has taken hold” in the business world.
At the end of the event, the forty-something, who describes himself primarily as an entrepreneur, added: the Trump administration and this second term represent “the greatest opportunity to reset America, to reset international relations, to create prosperity and growth for everyone. And I am fully here for that”.
No more than twice, according to the law
And while the President of the United States' online shop is offering t-shirts and caps bearing the slogan “Trump 2028” (the date of the next American election), people are wondering about what the future will hold. Will Trump’s son, executive vice president of the family business “Trump Organization” take up the mantle? It’s worth noting that, according to the 22nd Amendment of the United States Constitution, adopted in 1947, “no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice”, as reported by 20 Minutes.
