While Tesla crumbles, Musk has a strong ally

Since Donald Trump returned to the White House, and implemented his tariff policy, Tesla's sales have collapsed, particularly in Europe.

Who's to blame? The highly controversial political positions of Tesla's CEO, a right-hand man to Trump, are partly responsible. And when everything is falling apart around him, one thing is certain: Musk can rely on long-standing friends. Proof of this is, despite Tesla's plummeting sales, Israel has reached out to the company for a tender concerning vehicles for high-level officials, as reported by Jewish News Syndicate, and shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Benjamin Netanyahu himself.

A true opportunity for Elon Musk who, on his social nmedia network, admitted to "greatly appreciating the news".

"Tesla? A very good product!"

"We will not succumb to woke trends," stated a senior Israeli official to Jewish News Syndicate. And added: "A car remains a car, and Tesla makes excellent ones," not hiding his eagerness to consider Tesla's proposal.

Last Monday, a 15% drop in Tesla's stock was observed by analysts in a single day; it's the largest since 2020. And while Musk's fortune has already decreased by 132 billion dollars since early 2025, Donald Trump wanted to demonstrate his unwavering support for his friend by announcing his intention to buy a Tesla, a "very good product".
