A survey shows that more than 50% of Ukrainians fear that Trump's efforts will lead to an unjust peace.
More than 50% of Ukrainians criticise US President Donald Trump's peace efforts, fearing they will lead to a partially or completely unjust end to the war waged by Russia against their country, a Ukrainian polling institute reported on Tuesday.
Mr Trump has promised to bring a swift end to this three-year-long war, but he has sometimes echoed the Kremlin's positions on the conflict, even accusing Kiev of starting it. He has also temporarily suspended military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is seeking a "mutually acceptable" agreement with the United States on minerals, said Ukraine's foreign minister on Tuesday, following criticisms from Ukrainian media and politicians that the latest US project was too unfavourable to Kiev.
"We will work with our American colleagues to reach a mutually acceptable text," said Andriï Sybiga at a press conference.
