Trump: "Putin has gone absolutely mad"

On his social network Truth Social, US President Donald Trump launched a fierce attack on his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Sunday evening. Ukrainian President Zelensky also received a jab.

“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!" wrote Donald Trump. “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”

Earlier in the day, Trump had already stated that he was "very surprised" that Putin had intensified the bombing of Ukrainian cities.

In his post, Trump also spoke about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his statements "doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does": "Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop."
