US President Donald Trump caused a stir on Monday by reposting statements on Truth Social claiming that former US president Joe Biden died in 2020.

Trump didn't hesitate to spread a major conspiracy theory about Joe Biden. Specifically, the theory claims that he was "executed" in 2020 and has since been replaced by a robotic clone.

Trump shared a post from an account called llijh, which states: "There is no Joe Biden, he was executed in 2020. What you see are soulless Joe Biden clones and robots. The Democrats can’t tell the difference."

Mr Trump didn't add any comments when he shared this post, but his action has been interpreted as supporting the theory. The White House has not officially commented on the American president’s message about his predecessor.
