Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko declared on Thursday that he was "absolutely" convinced that the US government "has no plan for Ukraine".
For Lukashenko, "it's difficult" for Russia to accept the ceasefire proposed by Washington during its meeting with Kiev this week.
"I can say with absolute certainty that the Americans have no plan for the conflict in Ukraine. Absolutely none. They're just testing the waters," he stated during his visit to Moscow before meeting his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin behind closed doors.
He advised Russia not to be deceived by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, whom he described as "a media man, who can make certain statements in the morning and others in the evening".
