A missile carrier deployed in the Black Sea and three ships, capable of carrying up to 26 missiles, spotted in the Mediterranean: Russia continues to threaten strikes against Ukraine.
This was stated by the Ukrainian Navy in a statement this Saturday, 5 April. The Russian vessel detected in the Black Sea is equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, capable of salvos of up to four missiles, the statement highlighted. As for the three ships identified in the Mediterranean by the military authorities in Kiev, each is capable of carrying 26 missiles.
Automatic identification systems disabled
The Ukrainian Navy protests: "Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems."
As indicated by the media L’Indépendant, let us also recall that Moscow and Kiev had ratified the principle of a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
