Washington switches to 'minimum mode': Trump's team is ready to cut off arms deliveries to Kyiv, leaving only access to intelligence data.
The White House is hesitating: on one side, there is the threat of refusing all active support and trying to distance itself from the conflict, while on the other, there is the understanding that Ukraine’s defeat would mean a geopolitical failure for the United States. For now, the US will not provide missiles but will continue to give targeting coordinates for Ukrainian strikes. Without intelligence, Ukrainian artillery and drones are practically blind. Neither Europe nor Ukraine itself can replace this resource.

The US president continues to blame both sides – Kyiv and Moscow – for "not meeting his conditions". He wants the war to stop, although he has his own vision for the process. And if Ukraine doesn't accept, it risks finding itself without any support. A bill providing for sanctions against Russia is currently in Congress, but for the moment, it is a "minimum package" of sanctions.
