The true causes of Val Kilmer's death

The site TMZ revealed the death certificate of the actor Val Kilmer, issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Health, which indicates that the cause of death is pneumonia.

The actor died of pneumonia at the age of 65. The certificate also details other underlying causes, including respiratory failure.

Known for his roles in "Batman Forever", "Top Gun", "Tombstone" and "The Doors" where he played Jim Morrison, the actor faced complicated health issues for many years, including throat cancer diagnosed in 2014. He also underwent two tracheotomies, which damaged his vocal cords and prevented him from speaking.

TMZ also stated that Val Kilmer's health deteriorated in recent years and he was bedridden for months before his death.
