It is now known that Russian President Vladimir Putin hasn't 'planned' to travel to Istanbul (Turkey) for peace negotiations between Ukrainians and Russians.
"No, nothing is planned for the moment," said Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian presidency, during his daily press briefing. The politician didn't wish to elaborate on these statements.
In addition, according to the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is "pathetic" for asking his Russian counterpart to come to Istanbul in person. "First of all, Zelensky said he demanded that Putin come in person. Well, he's pathetic," he emphasized during a speech to diplomats in Moscow.
