The Vice-President of the Russian Security Council and former President Dmitry Medvedev categorically rejected the peace initiative developed by European leaders in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on Saturday, telling them to shove their ideas up their "a..."

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk proposed a "total and unconditional" 30-day ceasefire starting Monday.
