Tesla’s vehicle deliveries fell by 13% in the first three months of the year compared to the same period last year — the company’s worst quarterly result since Q2 of 2022.

The downward trend is expected to continue, as a growing number of European consumers boycott the American brand, largely in response to controversies surrounding CEO Elon Musk.

Across the globe, Tesla vehicles and even some retail locations have been vandalized or set on fire in acts of protest.

According to data compiled by Bloomberg, based on figures from national automotive associations, Tesla registrations have plummeted in key European markets:

  • France: down 59%
  • Denmark: down 67%
  • Sweden: down 81%

The United Kingdom has also seen a sharp decline, with registrations dropping 62% year-over-year.
