Tesla has officially entered Saudi Arabia, with electric vehicle sales set to begin next month.

The announcement, published on the automaker’s official website, comes as Tesla faces a significant decline in sales across Europe, partly due to Elon Musk’s prominent role within the U.S. government and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Tesla’s arrival in Saudi Arabia further strengthens diplomatic ties between Washington and Riyadh. The Middle Eastern country is increasingly embracing electric vehicles, acknowledging that its vast oil reserves will eventually run out.

The company already operates in several Middle Eastern nations, including the UAE, Jordan, Israel, and Qatar. Saudi Arabia, however, represents the largest market in the region.

U.S.-Saudi relations have been improving since Donald Trump's return to office, with the kingdom announcing a major investment in American military equipment earlier this month.
