Hikers and campers need to evacuate due to wildfires spreading from the south to the north in Scotland.
The fire started on Thursday near Newton Stewart in the south of Scotland and has spread over the past few days to Loch Doon and Ayrshire.
Helicopters are being deployed to control the flames. Residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed, and in other parts of Scotland, hikers and campers are urged to be cautious with campfires or stoves. The dry spring has increased the risk of wildfires.
