Russia is preparing to launch a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), according to Ukraine’s military intelligence service.

Kyiv’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) reported that Moscow plans to deploy the missile as early as this week in a move designed to intimidate Ukraine and Western nations.

The GUR stated that the RS-24 ICBM has a range of 10,000 kilometers—more than twice the distance between Russia and the United Kingdom.

In a post on Telegram, the agency wrote that Russia is preparing to launch the missile “in order to demonstratively pressure and intimidate Ukraine, as well as the EU and NATO member states.

The warning comes as Russia launched a massive drone offensive on Sunday, targeting the regions of Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk.

According to the Ukrainian military, 273 drones were launched between Saturday night and Sunday morning, marking one of the largest drone attacks to date.
