Russia has started military exercises involving the use of intercontinental ballistic missiles Yars, according to RIA Novosti and the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that the strategic missile forces have commenced exercises involving nuclear warhead missiles.
This isn't the first such military exercise in Russia.
In particular, last February, it was reported that Russia was conducting clandestine launch exercises of Yars intercontinental ballistic missiles in the Volga region.
The Yars is a Russian strategic missile system equipped with a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile. It was adopted in 2010. Its range is up to 12,000km and its warhead is separable with multiple nuclear warheads.
