In Ukraine, in the Sumy region, bordering the Kursk Oblast, a Russian attack in a residential area injured over 90 people to varying degrees, including 23 children. A school was hit.
According to information from Ukrainian authorities, on Monday 24 March 2025, a Russian attack hit 26 buildings in the Sumy region, which borders Russia. Among the damaged infrastructure are school buildings. Hence, the human toll includes 23 children requiring medical intervention, 17 of whom were confirmed injured. They were indeed in a shelter. The missile strike also hit private residences, a kindergarten, a hospital, a restaurant, an entertainment complex, and an administrative building. The total casualty count is 93 people, including children, seeking medical assistance. Furthermore, 3000 windows were shattered by the blast. There's also damage to the roofs of several houses. Moreover, some private buildings are without gas or electricity. Urgent repairs are necessary, and renovation work already began this Tuesday, 25 March, at 7.30am.
