"Our army is one of the most powerful in the world"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine would continue to work towards joining NATO, even if some members of the Alliance opposed its membership.

"With Ukraine, NATO can certainly become stronger. We must therefore work together so that Ukraine can one day, like Finland, join NATO. This will not be easy. Not everyone supports this idea, but we will nonetheless work towards it," Volodymyr Zelensky declared.

He also pointed out that the Ukrainian army is currently one of the most powerful in the world in terms of modern warfare, meaning that Ukraine could strengthen the Alliance.
