Olympic gold medalist embarks on 24-Hour charity climbing challenge

Janja Garnbret, the renowned Slovenian climber, is set to participate in a 24-hour climbing event. She announced on her official Instagram account that she will be climbing for 24 hours, inviting others to join her for a day filled with climbing, fun, and purpose. The event is scheduled to take place at the climbing center of Slovenska Bistrica (Slovenia) on August 22–23, 2025.

Double olympic climbing champion Janja Garnbret is taking a reduced competition schedule in 2025, focusing on select events and special projects like this 24-hour climb. 26 year old Janja Garnbret from Slovenia won twice gold at the Olympics, collected already 47 World Cup wins and 8 World Championship golds.
