Musk's worrying announcement about our future

During a podcast with Republican Senator Ted Cruz, Elon Musk shared his pessimistic view of the world.

"There is a 20% chance that humanity will be annihilated by killer robots in 10 years," declared Elon Musk. The billionaire explained that it's possible that Artificial Intelligence could lead to the extermination of humanity.

When asked by Cruz if it was possible for AI to imagine, manufacture, and control killer robots, the CEO of Tesla and Space X affirmed: "Yes, it's conceivable; it would take between 5 and 10 years for such a scenario to happen."

In fact, Musk believes that the possibility of an AI-triggered apocalypse is real... although he tempered his remarks. "We can consider the glass to be 80 or 90% full."
