Barely out of the White House, Elon Musk quickly launched attacks against the President of the United States on his social media network X.
It all began with a disagreement over the budget bill proposed by Donald Trump. This was a law that Musk described as an "abhorrent abomination", claiming it could undermine the efforts made by the DOGE (Department of Governmental Efficiency), which he headed.
Today, the Tesla boss is reversing course. On the X platform, he says he regrets certain messages posted about the White House occupant. "I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far." The billionaire has thus deleted several messages, including one in which he said he supported the impeachment of the American president.
Madness
For his part, in response to the wave of attacks, Trump retaliated by calling his former right-hand man "crazy" and threatening to terminate federal contracts awarded to the world’s richest man’s companies, according to the media outlet L’Indépendant.
