Missing woman finally freed from car wreck after 6 days

A 41-year-old woman from the American state of Indiana can finally breathe a sigh of relief again. This mother of three became trapped in her car after a traffic accident.

Brieonna Cassell went off the road with her car on Friday, March 6, and ended up in a deep ditch under a bridge. The woman injured her legs and wrists, and her smartphone, which had a dead battery, was unreachable under the passenger seat. No one could see her at the spot where her vehicle came to a stop. The woman thought her last days were numbered.

By using her hoodie to catch water through a broken window, she was able to stay somewhat hydrated. A worker from an excavation company turned out to be her guardian angel.

The man was working from a high tractor and suddenly saw the car standing along the road. He called his supervisor, and together they went to check the car. They called the emergency services, who managed to free the woman from her vehicle after six long days.

Brieonna was airlifted to the hospital. She is seriously injured but was conscious when found. She is already able to eat independently and is extremely grateful for the good outcome.
