The 2025 MotoGP season so far has been dominated by the Márquez brothers, Marc and Álex, who have consistently finished first and second in the first ten sprint races. Marc Márquez, riding for Ducati Team, leads the championship with 307 points, having won six Grands Prix including Thailand, Argentina, Qatar, Aragon, Italy, and the Netherlands. Álex Márquez of Gresini Racing is second with 239 points, including a win at the Spanish GP and several second-place finishes.

Francesco Bagnaia, also from Ducati Team, is third in the standings with 181 points, highlighted by a victory at the Americas GP and multiple podiums. Other race winners include Johann Zarco, who secured a notable win in France under rainy conditions—Honda’s first victory since April 2023—and Marco Bezzecchi, who gave Aprilia its first win in over a year at the 2024 Americas GP.

Marc Márquez leads the championship with six wins

The season has seen strong performances from riders like Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio (both Team VR46), with consistent points finishes. Defending champion Jorge Martín has missed much of the season due to serious injuries sustained in pre-season testing and a crash during the Qatar GP.

Honda and Aprilia have broken Ducati’s winning streak with key victories

The championship remains highly competitive, with Ducati currently leading the constructors’ battle, and the Márquez brothers setting the pace in the riders’ championship. The season continues with upcoming rounds including the Czech and Austrian GPs, promising more thrilling races ahead.
