Over two million people attended a free concert on Copacabana beach in Brazil.
The concert on Saturday, 3rd May, was part of the cultural cycle "Todo Mundo no Rio", making it the largest event of her professional career, as well as a world record for a concert. The American singer was in Brazil a few days earlier with 250 people to prepare for the event.
And on Saturday evening, around 10pm, Lady Gaga took to the stage in a red dress, then in a dress in the colours of the Brazilian flag, which sparked an explosion of joy from the audience.
The artist known for "Poker Face", "Abracadabra" "Bad Romance" or "Shallow" paused her show for a few seconds to speak to her audience: "Thank you for making history with me. It's because of the Brazilian people that I shine."
