Trump administration ‘has already collapsed’

James Carville, the longtime Democratic political strategist who helped lead Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, claimed the Trump administration has already “collapsed.”

Appearing on CNN, Carville said members of the Trump administration had triggered a “massive collapse” far earlier than he had expected.

“I was wrong. I said it would happen by Memorial Day. It’s not even April Fool’s Day—and honestly, they should make that a national holiday because it perfectly represents who they are », he said.

Carville also criticized the administration’s use of international tariffs, which he said have shaken global financial markets and further undermined the president’s position.

In a recent opinion piece for The New York Times, Carville described Trump’s tariff strategy as “ignorant,” accusing the president of violating a fundamental rule in American politics: “Never destabilize the economy.”
