The Kremlin stated that it's waiting for the United States to inform it of the proposals discussed with Ukraine on Tuesday.
According to Reuters, "it's unlikely that Putin will agree to a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine".
In the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other senior officials have ruled out the idea of a temporary ceasefire that would freeze the conflict along the current front lines.
Asked about the American proposal, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov gave an evasive response, explaining that the subject needed to be discussed with the American side first.
"We assume that Secretary of State Rubio and National Security Advisor Waltz will inform us in the coming days, through various channels, about the negotiations that took place and the agreements reached", said Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov, adding that Moscow didn't rule out a "high-level" phone call with the United States.
