Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Tehran will not enter into negotiations with the United States as long as Israeli attacks continue.

Earlier this week, U.S. President Donald Trump said he would give himself two weeks to decide whether to join Israel in its military actions. Nevertheless, he expressed hope that a deal with Iran could still be reached within that timeframe.

"We are not ready to engage in negotiations with any side while the Israeli aggression continues," Araghchi said, according to state media. "We told the Americans clearly: as long as the attacks persist, there can be no negotiations. We are exercising our legitimate right to self-defense," he added.

Should negotiations fail to materialize, it is increasingly likely that the U.S. could align with Tel Aviv in efforts to target and destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.

However, Araghchi noted that Iran remains open to dialogue with European nations regarding nuclear issues and regional security.

Over the past week, both sides have exchanged missile fire, and there are currently no signs of de-escalation.
