24-year-old Emmanuel Lidden from Australia took it as a real challenge: he wanted to collect all the elements of the periodic table.

But things went wrong when importing plutonium. The 24-year-old Australian was arrested for illegally importing radioactive material.

He ordered plutonium via the internet and wanted it delivered to his parental home in a suburb of Sydney. The young man pleaded guilty and now risks a 10-year prison sentence. He is likely to receive his verdict on 11 April.

The young Australian was also an avid collector of stamps, banknotes, and coins, but his obsession with the periodic table now lands him in jail.
