He only bet two euros… This Frenchman wins a cool sum of 2 million euros

On the night of 11th to 12th June, a 45-year-old Frenchman scooped a jackpot of more than 2 million euros, despite wagering just 2 euros.

It all happened at the Partouche casino in Hyères, France. With a stake of just two euros in an electronic slot machine, the man took home the impressive sum of 2,428,682.40 euros!

The "occasional player" saw his dream come true at exactly 1:37 am. The "Mégapot" machines, one of which brought the winner his fortune, number six in the establishment, and are linked to others located in around thirty other casinos in the group. As reported by 20 Minutes, the potential winnings are fuelled in real time and can drop at any location.

According to staff at the venue, the lucky winner is said to have confided that he has no plans to change his lifestyle "for now," remaining very calm at the moment of surprise.
