Greenland asserts that Trump will not acquire the island despite all his attempts

According to Greenland's new Prime Minister, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, the United States will not be able to acquire the country.

Despite President Donald Trump's ambitions to take control of the island, the island's inhabitants will decide their own future.
The Prime Minister remarked that Greenland must listen when it's being talked about from abroad. However, it must not succumb to external pressure.

He rejected Trump's attempts to claim the island and made it clear that the United States would not obtain Greenland.

"President Trump says that the United States will obtain Greenland. Let me be clear: the United States will not obtain it. We do not belong to anyone else. We determine our own future", stated Mr. Nielsen.

The Prime Minister added that the people of Greenland will not determine their future through fear or coercion. In response to the United States, they must react with peace, dignity, and unity.

"And it's through these values that we must clearly, clearly, and calmly show the American president that Greenland belongs to us. It was like this yesterday. It is like this today. And it will be the same in the future", he emphasised.
