The TeslaTakedown movement is calling for worldwide protests against Tesla, the electric car brand of CEO Elon Musk, on Saturday 29th March.
The image of Tesla, once the most popular electric car brand, has taken significant hits since Elon Musk, the CEO of the brand, became involved in American politics. The stock is plummeting, sales are collapsing, and Tesla outlets in several countries have become the target of (sometimes violent) protests.
The protest movement TeslaTakedown calls for peaceful action against Tesla on Saturday 29th March.
"Take action at Tesla showrooms everywhere. Sell your Teslas, dump your stock, join the picket line," reads the website of the movement, which emerged in early 2025. "Hurting Tesla is stopping Musk. Stopping Musk will help save lives and our democracy. The stakes couldn’t be higher. No one is coming to save us—not politicians, not the media."
Protests are planned worldwide, not just in the United States.
