Last January, a resident of the commune of Niort (in the centre-west of France) was apprehended by the police, who suspect him of scratching several cars in a hospital car park.

If you still don't make the connection with the American billionaire, Elon Musk, the following will enlighten you. Indeed, the 76-year-old man allegedly targeted electric cars of the brand…Tesla, of which Musk is the leader.

Keys, a car park and the trick is done

As reported by the media France bleu, the septuagenarian, armed with keys, was seen scratching several Teslas in the Niort hospital car park, at the exact moment when Donald Trump's inauguration was in full swing.

During his hearing, the 76-year-old man stated that he "didn't like" Musk, which is why he targeted vehicles created by the tech icon. This anti-Musk individual had already been the subject of two complaints in recent weeks. As indicated by La Dépêche, the septuagenarian was eventually released. On 10 November, he will be summoned to the Niort judicial court as part of a penal order.
