"Flanders to the Netherlands, Wallonia becomes part of France" (Chairman of the Dutch parliament)

A striking idea from the Chairman of the Dutch parliament, Martin Bosma.

'Divide and rule at the table'

Bosma proposed this idea to split and divide Belgium during his meeting with the French ambassador in early February, according to NRC. The Chairman of the Dutch parliament tabled the idea during a joint dinner. He suggested that Flanders could go to the Netherlands and France would then get Wallonia.

Martin Bosma is a radical-right politician from the party of Geert Wilders, who himself had also once suggested this idea during his visit to Vlaams Belang in Antwerp.
