Are you fed up with all the streaming services? Then 'Den stora älgvandringen' might be something for you. You are joining millions of viewers.

'Slow tv' isn't new, but 'Den stora älgvandringen' (the great elk migration) is a true phenomenon on SVT, the Swedish public television broadcaster, and is gradually attracting more fans across the globe. In 2019, SVT started by placing a camera at the Ångerman River in northern Sweden. Around 300,000 elks always follow the same, ancient path to migrate to summer grazing grounds in the spring.

Today, there are 26 cameras set up and 15 people work on the broadcast, which attracts millions of viewers, not only in Sweden, but worldwide. They gaze at the nature images, hoping to spot an elk. SVT broadcasts 24 hours a day until 4th May.
