Fatal fall claims burglar’s life amid armed home invasion in Brussels

On Wednesday night, four people broke into a house on Krakeelstraat in Brussels. The burglars behaved particularly aggressively and threatened the occupants with knives and a hammer.

The four suspects entered the flat through an open window. However, the residents managed to chase the burglars away and during their escape, one of the burglars, a young man aged 23, fell down from the first floor. He died on the spot from his injuries. The three other suspects left their accomplice behind and fled the scene.
