Musk claims he has the tactic to end war in Ukraine ‘immediately’

Elon Musk has put forward a proposal that he claims could end the war in Ukraine "immediately."

Amid ongoing criticism for his controversial statements, the billionaire suggested imposing sanctions on Ukraine’s ten wealthiest oligarchs as a way to guarantee peace.

"Place sanctions on the top 10 Ukrainian oligarchs, especially the ones with mansions in Monaco, and this will stop immediately. That is the key to the puzzle," he wrote on X.

Musk also argued that his Starlink satellite system, which provides high-speed internet, could lead to Ukraine’s military downfall if he chose to disable it.

"What I am sickened by is years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose. Anyone who really cares, really thinks, and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop. PEACE NOW!" he added.

Meanwhile, peace talks between the U.S. and Russia are set to resume on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia. However, despite being in the Gulf nation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not attend the negotiations.
