Donald Trump has declared that the ongoing boycott of Tesla is ‘illegal’, following a tough start to the week for the automaker, with its stock experiencing a significant drop.

Standing in front of the White House, the president was given the choice of a Tesla model, accompanied by Elon Musk and his son.

"Elon Musk is ‘putting it on the line’ in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s ‘baby,’ in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for," Trump posted on Truth Social on Tuesday.

Tesla’s stock plummeted on Monday, following widespread protests condemning Musk’s growing influence within DOGE and the government.

Musk’s net worth dropped by $29 billion in a single day.
