Disney presents a first and will open its first theme park in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi.
The American entertainment company announced on Wednesday that they will open a thirteenth theme park, and the United Arab Emirates was chosen for this purpose. Disneyland Abu Dhabi will be located on Yas. This is an artificial island in Abu Dhabi, about half an hour from the emirate's namesake capital.
The local leisure company Miral Group will construct and operate the park as the owner. Miral already has the Ferrari World theme park on the island, and Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld can also be found there.
Currently, the attractions and park are being fully designed, and once the plans are complete, construction will take 5 to 6 years.
