Cristiano Jr. was first called up for the Portuguese national U15 team and has since made his debut in the Portugal shirt.
The eldest son of Cristiano Ronaldo participated for the first time in the Portuguese U15 squad at an international tournament in Croatia. The 14-year-old forward played against Japan for half an hour with the U15 of Portugal.
The strong performances of the teenager in the youth academy of Al Nassr did not go unnoticed: coach João Santos of the Portuguese U15 included the 14-year-old forward in his squad of 22 players.
The Vlatko Markovic tournament is currently taking place from 13 to 18 May and Portugal will face Japan, Greece, England and a fourth, yet to be determined opponent.
On Instagram, father Cristiano Ronaldo beams with pride. "Congratulations on your debut for Portugal", he writes. "I am incredibly proud of you."
One question is currently occupying football fans around the world: will we ever see father and son Ronaldo together in one team?
