It happens regularly, and the supermarket chain can do nothing about it each time, but hard drugs among the banana delivery always cause an unpleasant situation.
This time, several kilos of cocaine were found among the bananas in three branches of Albert Heijn in the south of the Netherlands. The supermarket staff discovered the drugs on Wednesday and immediately informed the police. It is suspected to be drugs from a single supplier in one shipment. The coke was found in stores in Best, Eindhoven and Bavel. Something seems to have gone wrong with extracting the drugs in the port, presumably in the port of Vlissingen.
