Bitcoin hit a new record high on August 14, 2025, crossing the symbolic threshold of $124,000 (approximately €106,110) for the first time in early Asian trading.

For Bitcoin, this historic high is part of a rise of more than 30% since the beginning of the year.

The reasons are multiple: first, a more favorable regulatory climate in the United States, particularly with reforms implemented under President Donald Trump, which facilitate the integration of cryptocurrencies into the traditional financial system.

Growing interest from institutional investors is also driving massive flows into Bitcoin. Finally, strong international demand and a rise in US equity markets are favoring risky assets like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is increasingly dependent on the US stock market climate; however, financial analysts warn of market volatility and the risks faced by investors.
