Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Tim Cook (Apple), Sundar Pichai (Google), Elon Musk (Tesla) and Jeff Bezos (Amazon) have seen the combined value of their companies drop by 1.8 trillion dollars since the beginning of 2025.

The top executives of Silicon Valley technology giants donated millions of dollars to Donald Trump's campaign, but since Trump re-entered the White House, they have seen the value of their companies and their net worth shrink significantly.

The value of the companies founded or led by Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Tim Cook (Apple), Sundar Pichai (Google), Elon Musk (Tesla) and Jeff Bezos (Amazon) have collectively lost nearly 1.8 trillion dollars in value since the start of this year.

Thanks to AI, tech giants have been able to keep their profits and shares fairly stable in recent years, but according to a UBS report, technology companies could face a 25 percent hit due to import tariffs.

Elon Musk suffered the largest drop (percentage-wise): Tesla is now worth 28% less, equivalent to a loss of over 376 billion dollars. His personal wealth decreased by a third, around 143 billion dollars.

The largest percentage loss is for Apple, led by CEO Tim Cook: the company lost 18.5 percent of its value, with 684.8 billion dollars evaporating.
