Big news for the Ronaldo family

Popping (non-alcoholic) champagne corks at the home of Cristiano Ronaldo? It could very well be, as Cristiano Jr. has been called up for the first time to the Portuguese national U15 team.

The eldest son of Cristiano Ronaldo will make his debut for the Portuguese U15 squad at an international tournament in Croatia.

The teenager’s strong performances in the youth division of Al Nassr did not go unnoticed: head coach João Santos of the Portuguese U15 has included the 14-year-old striker in his selection of 22 players.

The Vlatko Markovic tournament takes place from May 13 to 18, and Portugal will compete against Japan, Greece, England and a fourth, yet to be determined opponent.

Will we ever see father and son Ronaldo in one team?
