As drone warfare becomes an integral part of the conflict in Ukraine, the UK has taken the lead in developing a weapon capable of swiftly disabling drones.

While most drone attacks today involve a single remotely piloted aircraft, military experts warn that future battlefields will likely see swarms of drones deployed simultaneously.

Developed by Thales, the "RapidDestroyer" can effectively neutralize drones by disrupting their electronic components using radio waves, rendering them uncontrollable.

One of the key advantages of this technology is its cost-effectiveness—each shot costs only 13 cents. According to the UK Ministry of Defence, the "RapidDestroyer" can hit a target from up to 1 km away.

This weapon could also prove highly effective against China, which is reportedly considering overwhelming Taiwan with thousands of drones before launching a full-scale maritime invasion of the island nation.
