A pyramid discovered at the bottom of the ocean near Taiwan could radically change history as we know it.

Located 25 meters underwater near Japan’s Ryukyu Islands, a mysterious structure known as the Yonaguni Monument continues to fascinate researchers, even decades after its discovery in 1986.

This massive formation, standing about 27 meters tall, appears to be made entirely of stone, suggesting it may have been shaped by human hands.

However, tests conducted on stone fragments revealed that the monument could be over 10,000 years old — implying it may have been built around 12,000 years ago, before the area was submerged by the sea.

Often referred to as the "Japanese Atlantis," the Yonaguni Monument remains an unsolved mystery, though some experts dispute the theory that it was man-made.
