A man jumps from the top of the Empire State Building...and miraculously survives

It was nearly 10 years ago: a 33-year-old man wanted to end his life by jumping from the Empire State Building (New York).

A true miracle, and another reason to hold on to life, as this thirty-something emerged with just a broken ankle. He had chosen the 86th floor of the famous building, which is narrower than the 85th, and had fallen only a few metres.

Probably a miscalculation... The young American must surely have been saved by his lucky star.
