How Coldplay uncovered a CEO’s affair during their show

A Coldplay concert was all it took to expose an affair involving the CEO of a major American company.

As part of every show, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin takes a light-hearted break to send a personalized message to fans using the "kiss cam." But during a recent concert in Boston, this playful moment led to an unexpected revelation.

Focusing on a couple who quickly tried to avoid the spotlight, Martin joked: “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

It turns out, the pair caught on camera were Andy Byron, CEO of tech firm Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s head of human resources, who are now revealed to be involved in a secret relationship.

A clip of the moment went viral on social media, racking up millions of views within days of being posted.
