"90kg explosive warheads": North Korean weapon aimed at Ukrainians

The Russian armed forces are reportedly equipped with a formidable North Korean weapon. Until now, no one had been able to confirm it.

Recently, images have circulated on the social network X (formerly Twitter) allowing the claim that North Korea's 240 mm M1991 MLRS is indeed on the Russian side.

In the sequence currently shared on the platform, the M1991 system can be seen apparently placed in a hangar, on which personnel are installing anti-drone protection, specifies Defence Express, quoted by L'Indépendant. This weapon can fire "unguided rockets with highly explosive 90 kg warheads".

Still according to the information from Defence Express, the North Korean cannon has been present on Russian territory for several months already. Furthermore, 120 units have already been delivered to Moscow, declared the head of Ukrainian defence intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, earlier this year.
